The Majestic Shields Lore Bible

Last update: Jan. 12, 2025
This is the lore Bible for the Majestic Shields. It’s big enough to warrant its own page. It’s also going to expand and grow over time. You can assume most things here are stable parts of canon. I’ll clarify if something does change, specifying how and why, in the update log.
The Setting, The Shields, The World
Magical Girl groups and organizations have existed in the MS universe throughout the 20th century. The Captain was part of a former, smaller Magical Girl group before starting the Majestic Shields with her friends and colleagues. The original Shields were small in numbers and simplistic in aims and goals, then grew into a huge operation.
The MS is the biggest Magical Girl group in the world by the time the stories start, although there are smaller organizations that also exist — some allies, some rivals, some indifferent to the Shields. Some are bigger with a more paramilitary approach, others are traditional with just a few Magical Girls. None are as resource-heavy and enormous as the Shields.
The Majestic Shields, Organizationally
The Majestic Shields is head by the Captain, with different Shields in various senior leadership positions directing functioning and operations. It’s an enormous Magical Girl group with its own headquarters in a gigantic, unnamed American city that they predominantly defend. Shields also respond to problems in and around the city, growing their territorial influence over time. Additionally, they sometimes go on expeditions to other areas nationally or internationally.
There are two ways to become a Majestic Shield. You either propose recruitment of your own volition, or you are nominated as part of mandatory recruitment. Anyone who considers themselves a woman can be recruited, whether with or without consent. However, if a “man” is recruited, they will undergo mandatory feminization (see below). In some cases, the Captain or Goddess may enact certain physical changes to a woman applying / nominated for candidacy.
All Majestic Shields candidates are approved by the Captain. You can be rejected. It’s rare that you are, but sometimes there’s a good reason.
After candidacy is approved, Shields undergo training. Here, they learn magic, basic combat skills, and how to transform. During training, magic is performed to bestow the Shield candidate with advanced strength. The Goddess gifts Shields with various strength levels, which will define where they end up in the various roles within the organization. She may also choose to benefit a Shield with additional attributes at seemingly random, such as improved mathematical comprehension, or better communication skills.
It should go without saying, but the Shields are made up of a pretty diverse group of women. Trans women, cis women, nonbinary women, the only real requirement is that you have to be a woman in whatever way you deem fit. Majestic Shields can also use magic to change their genitals, if they know the proper spell.
How Does “Mandatory Feminization” Work?
The mandatory civilian feminization recruitment wave is an incredibly successful initiative, where Majestic Shields elect a civilian candidate for recruitment who requires certain… additional physical changes to join the organization. Shields are deployed to collect the candidate and deliver them to the Captain to relieve them of their less feminine appearance. “Men” (usually eggs) are put through “mandatory feminization” and transformed into beautiful women. Against their will, perhaps, but they usually come to love the end result.
Feminization magic was invented early in the Majestic Shields’ history and proved a major recruitment benefit. However, it was originally deployed with consent. Over time, this changed.
All feminization recruits are transformed physically. Traditionally, this was done by hand by the Captain to make sure her Shields fit a specific physical appearance she deemed ideal. Eventually, a method was perfected by a Shield named Calliope, which allows the Goddess to do the feminization to Her preferred specifications.
(Unsurprisingly, the Goddess and the Captain have very similar tastes)
Shields Roles
After training, Shields are deployed to specific roles. These roles define their responsibilities, expectations, and day-to-day tasks.
Here are all confirmed Shields roles. There are more. These are just canonical categories that have been officially revealed:
- Combat – Your standard Shield, and the lion’s share of the group. They go into battle, fight, save civilians. Combat Shields run the gamut in personalities, from innocent do-gooders with (relatively) strong moral compasses, to sadistic opportunists, to your average girl-next-door who occasionally indulges in her darker side, and everything in between
- Support – Healing, communications, protection spells. Support girls that work on the technical and research / communications side tend to be more introverted. Like Combat Shields, they run the gamut from innocent to truly perverted
After recruitment, Shields are placed in the quarters built for their role and usually given a roommate to live with. Sometimes, a Shield will live with a partner they work with directly in day-to-day operations; other times, they’ll be placed with a matching person within their Role.
If a Shield receives a partner, their partner can have a different or identical roles. This means a Combat Shield and a Support Shield may work and live together in either the Support or Combat quarters. Or alternatively, two Support Shields may work and live together in the Support quarters, two Combat Shields in the Combat quarters, etc.
New recruits are always placed into their respective Role’s quarters for their first living assignment. Sisters are usually placed into separate Roles so they do not have to be in direct contact for transformation… although this isn’t always the case. For example, Calliope and Kyria from “Happy Birthday, Sis” work as a pair and live together after the story.
How Strong Are Majestic Shields?
During training, all Shields are bestowed with superhuman strength of varying levels. Bigger, heavier, and physically stronger Shields are likely to be blessed with increased strength, but this isn’t always the case. Some physically bigger or heavier Shields end up in other positions. Conversely, there are many small, petite, and lanky Shields that serve as Combat Shields.
Combat Shields are generally stronger than Support Shields, but Combat Shields aren’t necessarily jocks / meatheads / muscle girls. They just end up stronger after they become Shields
Regardless of role, all Shields have the capacity to overpower your average human, some are just better at it than others.
The Shields armor may seem slim and lightweight on its members, but the white armor the girls wear is quite heavy. You can assume if an armored Combat Shield dropped her full weight on a human and pressed down, it would kill her.
How Does Transformation Work?
All Shields have the capacity to call on the Goddess and transform into a superior state… as long as they give tribute by orgasming. This can be done either solo or with a partner / group. Some Shields struggle to orgasm and haven’t been able to transform yet. This is less of a problem with Combat Shields, more a problem with Support Shields.
Transformation turns Shields into immensely powerful and highly intelligent Magical Girls, bestowed by the Goddess with incredible strength, cunning, and magic, all of which greater than their everyday power. After transformation, Shields change in demeanor. Their voice takes on a more serene tone, calm, collected, even soothing. Their voices also echoes and reverberates like they are imbued with some higher power.
Shields & Sex
Sex is a fundamental part of the Majestic Shields experience. The public is unaware of that. Even people applying of their own volition tend to be unfamiliar with this aspect of the Shields’ lore. But it is a core part of the Shields experience. Sex is literally part of training and key to understanding one’s magical capabilities.
Simply put, Shields tend to be very loose sexually. Many Shields also like to have orgies and fuck each other. Occasionally, less sexually promiscuous Shields are roped into orgies and made to join in, whether by peer pressure, magical brainwashing, or outright force.
Most Shields inevitably become perverted in some shape or form. Not all Shields, but most. Even in small ways, like masturbating more, having sex more, or just thinking about sex more. Is this innate to the role, or caused by the environment? Don’t expect any clear answers in canon work.
The Shields, The Public, & Controversy
The Shields are very good at public relations and damage control. Most civilians see the Shields as a force for good who transform through the power of sisterly love and friendship. The Shields puts out a trickle of information to make the organization look like it’s made of morally righteous vigilante heroines protecting the populace from the ever-encroaching jaws of evil. So while information about Shields life may be out there, or certain Shields may be minor celebrities, the general public knows nothing about the sexual exploits of the Shields, the erotic aspects of transformation, the reason for random people disappearing, and so on.
If you do see something? You’re likely to be paid off or convinced into silence, sometimes under the threat of force, as no one wants their head caved in by a superhuman Magical Girl. And that’s a best case scenario. When a particularly heinous situation is witnessed, you might just be outright captured and made into a Shield yourself.
Some people know the truth. Some of them are ex-Shields. They’re often not happy about what’s going on inside the Shields.
Who Are The Main Characters And Species In The Majestic Shields Universe?
There isn’t really one single main character, but a lot of recurring players that emerge. Many stories feature a quick glimpse into a specific interaction between a Shield and another: An enemy, a civilian, or even another Shield.
There are several major characters and species that play an important role in the lore. Here’s a quick list. The monster girls will later get their own page, and later still, the Monster Girl Codex.
- The Captain: Simply referred to as “The Captain,” she’s one of the original leaders and co-founders of the Majestic Shields. By far the most powerful Shield, members are personally approved for candidacy by her in order to join the Shields. Despite her calm and collected manner, she has very perverted tendencies, which have seemingly filtered down throughout the entire organization over time. Nonetheless, she is entirely devoted to the Goddess, willing to do whatever it takes to bring Her vision to light
- The Kaiju Queen: A recurring villainess the Majestic Shields fight. She can summon kaijus to attack the city that the Majestic Shields defend
- Kaiju: Enormous monster women summoned and commanded by The Kaiju Queen, which they have pledged their loyalty to. Kaiju look like massive, scaly monster women. They have yellow reptilian eyes with black pupils, sharp fangs, claws, and can easily crush metal steel. They are weak to transformed Majestic Shields.
- Empress Hydria: Empress of the Water, a 13-foot tall sea dragoness who leads her own force against the Majestic Shields. Hydria played an important role in the Majestic Shields’ history, as [REDACTED]
- Sirens: A group of humanoid, lamia-like monster girls with gills and exposed breasts. Sirens set up shop in a municipality’s water infrastructure (usually sewer systems) and use their singing powers to seduce humans, brainwashing them into aiding Siren initiatives. The Sirens wish to control the entire human population, although the Sirens claim they do so because they wish to implement their own utopian vision for mankind. Given humanity isn’t doing the best job on its own.
- Succubus: Succubi are seductive demons who enter the mortal plane to seduce humans. If a succubus orgasms in a human, or if a human orgasms into a succubus, the human begins transforming into a succubus. Transformed humans grow more and more like succubi as they continue to have sex with their succubi mistress, although the transformation is irreversible. Once it begins, it’s inevitable. Like many other monster species in the Majestic Shields universe, succubi are all essentially monster girls. They look and behave like women. This means if a succubus ejaculates in a man, or if a man ejaculates in a succubus, he will feminize.
- Saccophyte: Also known as a “maneater,” the Saccophyte is a plant-based monster girl who can feminize male targets.
The Saccophyte uses the Saccophyte’s Kiss to consume human testosterone; more specifically, bodily fluids such as saliva or cum carry a secretion that deploys microscopic tendrils into the target. These tendrils collect testosterone from the victim, carry them to the Saccophyte through a massive root network, and deliver the hormone to the Saccophyte. Saccophytes then secrete a nectar (Saccophyte Ambrosia) to the human target, which is an advanced form of estrogen that transforms the target’s body through healing and restorative properties, reversing testosterone and developing the “male” target into a female one. Saccophytes then continue to feed on the transformed human woman throughout her lifetime, deploying Ambrosia while removing all testosterone.
The most enticing meal a Saccophyte may encounter is the “fenscalia.” This is a type of “male” that puts out a pheromone stating the male wishes to have his testosterone removed and replaced. Saccophytes yearn to turn these “men” into women, marry them, bring them into a communal harem, and fill them with breeding spores. They are addicting to taste.
Saccophytes may bind their targets in vines. They can only be killed by being permanently removed from the Saccophyte root network, as testosterone feeds the Saccophyte’s body. Saccophytes are commonly fearmongered by human men due to the transformative nature of Saccophyte Ambrosia. The Majestic Shields work to protect the Saccophytes, having learned key elements to feminization magic through the Saccophytes, and the Majestic Shields also work to cover up and erase the past histories of fenscalia and Saccophyte “meals” transformed by the species. Sometimes Saccophytes grant feminized humans to the Majestic Shields, and some Saccophytes even serve and work with the organization.
To learn more about Saccophyte lore, listen to “Your Girlfriend Is Secretly A Plant Monster Girl, & She Wants To ForceFem Your Pretty Body.” - Salmon: First introduced in “Spirals,” the Salmons are a hostile and aggressive species of sea monster girls. With gills, sharp teeth, great strength, and pink fishy skin, Salmons have a series of long regenerative tentacles on their back that can detach and wrap around a human. If the tentacles cling onto a human for long enough, they will turn a human into a Salmon. If the tentacles cling onto a human for long enough and are then pulled off without an antidote, the human will also turn. It is thus very, very important for all Majestic Shields to perform a combat triage assessment on their incapacitated partners before ripping off Salmon tentacles.
The antidote to Salmon tentacles is the sexual arousal of the host. Intense sexual arousal from sex with a Salmon can, in fact, prevent human transformation into a Salmon.
Salmons are notoriously territorial, having previously fought against the Sirens for sewer control within the Majestic Shields’ city. While hostile and violent, Salmons do not lack higher thinking; they just enjoy the use of brute force. One might say Salmons are to Sirens as hornets are to bees. Indeed, while the succubus and Saccophyte prey on humans in their own way, Salmons are the most explicitly violent and selfish among the three transformative-based monster girls. Salmons prefer to breed their incapacitated prey quickly and eagerly out of sheer pleasure, although this doubles as a catalyst for Salmon transformation.
Most Salmons have penises, although not all. A transformed Salmon’s genital makeup is not dependent on the original sex nor gender of the human target. Salmon sweat is commonly used as a marinating garnish on luxury foods, with the secretion commonly hosting aphrodisiac properties when consumed orally. Consuming Salmon sweat mid-coitus is a potential defensive technique to prevent Salmon transformation, as it may arouse the body enough to prevent physiological change. - Nameless Combat Shield: A trans girl magically transformed by The Captain. She’s the listener in the first episode, transformed from a “boy” with gender dysphoria into a Magical Girl. In the second episode, she serves as the speaker, where she must transform to fight a kaiju
The fiction stories also have a few recurring characters that pop up here and there. I’ll wait to detail these characters until more stories are published.
